10 month old baby came with toy piercing into skull while playing. Difficult part of removing the toy was it was passing through mid live vertex where the biggest vein of brain is passing. We were not sure that the toy was piercing through the vein. We decided to take the baby for surgery to remove toy. Under anaesthesia, part of the toy was cut with cutter and the piercing iron was craniotomy. CT scan was done after the surgery to rule and tamed bleeding and brain damage. How ever the baby is safe and doing well post operatory.
