Dr. Binesh Balachandran completed his MBBS degree from Government Medical College, Calicut. This was followed by a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Paediatrics from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, and a senior residency program in Paediatric Neonatology leading to a Doctorate of Medicine (DM) degree, also from PGIMER. He was adjudged the best young investigator in the field of Neonatology in India in 2014 and won the National Neonatology Forum gold medal. In his career of nearly 14 years, he has presented papers at several national and international conferences. He has also published 5 original research papers in reputed medical journals. Dr. Balachandran takes a keen interest in cases involving neonatal intensive care, neonatal ventilation, neonatal palliative care, and research methodology.

Dr. Tahsin Neduvanchery earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Cardiology from Government Medical College, Madurai in 2009. He also earned a Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP) in 2011. Thereafter, he pursued a super-specialty post-doctorate course from Government Medical College, Calicut to become a Doctorate of Medicine (DM) in Cardiology. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom (FRCP) and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC). In his career of 12 years to date, he has done numerous case presentations at state, national and international conferences. In 2019, he received the Brand Indian Icon award for innovative procedures. In the same year, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) honored him with the Six Sigma award for adopting and implementing techniques that resulted in improvement in processes. Dr. Neduvanchery is the course director of the MRCP PACES preparatory program, at Aster MIMS, Kottakkal.

With six years of experience to his credit, Dr. Muhammed Shafi N holds a Master in Emergency Medicine (MEM) degree conferred by the Ronald Reagan Institute of Emergency Medicine, George Washington University, USA. Before that, he earned an MBBS degree from Government Medical College, Trivandrum. He was a resident doctor at DM Wayanad Institute of Medical Sciences and a medical officer at Tanur community health centre under the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), before joining the Aster family. He takes a special interest in resuscitation procedures and trauma care.

Dr. Avni K P Skandan earned an MBBS degree from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Kolar. This was followed by a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Radiology from Malabar Institute of Medical Sciences, Calicut. She also holds a European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) and is currently pursuing a Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR). She was awarded a certificate of appreciation by Sindhu Hospital, Nagercoil for voluntary assistance during Tsunami relief efforts. She also secured 1st place in a poster presentation at the MRI teaching course held at Dr. Balabhai Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai, in 2010.

Dr. Sumith S Malik earned an MBBS degree from Government Medical College, Calicut in 2003 followed by a Master of Surgery (MS) in General Surgery from Government Medical College, Kottayam in 2006. In a career spanning more than a decade, he has taken part in many conferences in the country and abroad. Early in 2020, he was the speaker at an international continuing medical education (CME) workshop held in Dubai, and the moderator at a CME workshop on gastrointestinal (GI) imaging.

Dr. Jeethu Chandran completed the MBBS program at MS Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore in 2011. In 2017, he completed the Master in Emergency Medicine (MEM) program offered by the Ronald Reagan Institute of Emergency Medicine, George Washington University, USA. In his 5-year career, he has participated in various conferences and workshops and earned accolades. He came 2nd at a PACE workshop held in Guntur; attended the 15th National Conference of Emergency Medicine (EMCON) in 2013, and the Annual National Conference on Academic Emergency Medicine held in Coimbatore.
