Dr. Avni K P Skandan earned an MBBS degree from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Kolar. This was followed by a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Radiology from Malabar Institute of Medical Sciences, Calicut. She also holds a European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) and is currently pursuing a Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR). She was awarded a certificate of appreciation by Sindhu Hospital, Nagercoil for voluntary assistance during Tsunami relief efforts.
